I have been trained and mentored by Dr. Joanne Dolhanty, founder of Emotion-Focused Skills Training (EFST), since 2017, and have been facilitating EFST workshops for parents and caregivers since 2019. With a compassionate, relationship-focused lens, my hope is to help families navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, externalizing behaviours, and overwhelming emotions. I hold a particular interest in working with individuals who have experienced relational trauma and those who struggle with shame and self-criticism. I also specialize in helping families repair ruptured relationships and rebuild emotional connection. In addition to my clinical work, I am the co-developer of Emotion-Focused Skills Training for Youth (EFST-Y), a modality created alongside Clint Robson that brings emotion-focused tools directly to adolescents. My professional work is informed by ongoing training and collaboration in evidence-based practices that integrate emotion and attachment science. I am registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals.
